Due to continued increase in production, at Runfold Plastics we have decided to design and build a new state of the art dip moulding machine. For some 8 months we have been designing & building up components and now ‘Machine X’ is starting to take shape.
It was originally called ‘Machine X’ as it was intended to replace our Machine 10. It has however, kept the name although it will be our 11th machine. Production trials we hope will be run in July ’22, moving into full production soon after.
We anticipate this machine will increase our capacity by some 15%, as it will allow the spread of loading by product mix to be shared out more efficiently amongst our range of machines.
This will:
- Reduce lead times
- Give better consistency of product
- Quicker set up times
